Web Design, Maintenance, and Hosting
A business website is more than just words, graphics, and animation. It conveys who you are, what you do, and how to quickly and effectively contact your business.
An existing or potential customer expects to see the products and services you offer, the information they need, and why what you offer is the best for their needs - with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Business Essentials – Static: Static* setup for code updating and manual tweaking of pages.
*call for current prices*
Recommended for users experienced with manual site updating, software applications needed to update the site are not included. The Business Essentials – Static is perfect for the site that won’t be updated much at all. Granted, for best results, you should update your site often. For most businesses regular updates are just not a priority.
The standard sections of every successful web site are:
Home Page – You’re opening “handshake” statements to someone when they ask what you do. This should be a general overview of your company, goals, products and services as well as any recognition you may have for past work done.
About Page – A detailed history of the company. The idea is to show where you have been and where you plan on being in the future as a company.
Contact Page–This page should include, at a minimum, postal address, phone, fax, email, and Google Map, so that anyone who wants to do business can contact you. Products or Services – In detail, what products or services you offer? Most important, how are your products or services better than your competitors? What makes you stand out?
Web Links – Links to other relevant companies or clients. It is a good idea to list any and all memberships, awards, or group affiliations you have. For example, if you’re a member of your local Chamber of Commerce, it would be a good idea to provide a link to them. It is highly advisable to limit any and all links that are not relative to your industry.
* Custom Site solutions would be anything custom from top to bottom made from scratch.
